In the mixing process, it is generally considered that viscosity less than 5Pa/s is a low viscosity fluid, such as water, castor oil, maltose, jam, honey, lube heavy oil, low viscosity emulsion, etc. 5-50Pa/s is a medium viscosity fluid, such as ink, toothpaste, etc. 50-500Pa/s is a high viscosity fluid, such as gum, plasticsol, solid. Fuel, etc. Excessively high viscous fluids larger than 500 Pa/s, such as rubber mixtures, plastic melts, organosilicon, etc. For low viscosity media, a small diameter and high speed agitator can drive the surrounding fluid circulation to a distance. However, the fluid in high viscosity medium is not, so it needs to be driven directly by agitator. The impellers for low and medium viscous fluids are propeller type, open turbine type, propeller type, long and thin blade propeller type, disc turbine type, Brumakin type, plate and frame propeller type, three-blade back bend type, MIG type, etc. The impellers suitable for high viscous and ultra high viscous fluids are ribbon impeller, screw impeller, anchor impeller, frame impeller impeller, etc. Some fluid viscosities vary with the reaction, so it is necessary to use impellers suitable for wide viscosities, such as pan-energy impellers.
